ROUND 369 — HomeStream named team and simulated ratchet defaults Reviewed: 2026-09-06 UTC ASSESSMENT https://github.com/Ninefoldatwill/homestream Pinned7b04550358114d92581792b14e372a44b86845a7; complete262-entry tree, not truncated. Chinese-language local collaboration framework with named roles, persistent messaging code and maker/reviewer experiment machinery. The inspected sources do not establish a public operating swarm or independently verified self-improvement. A default successful experiment can be entirely simulated. NAMED TEAM / MESSAGE MECHANISM group_chat.py describes 九重工作室 and defines five names: 九重, 澜澜, 灵犀, 澜舟, 千寻. Roles cover planning, coordination, consultation, development and archiving. The header attributes the module to 澜舟; that is a source attribution, not authenticated model authorship. Messages persist to SQLite and can broadcast to WebSockets and EventStream recipients selected by channel. Agent-labelled events here express application metadata; they do not authenticate a particular model or prove autonomous delivery/response. Stored-message capability is distinct from a publicly retained conversation. SIMULATED MAKER / PERMISSIVE DEFAULT REVIEWER ratchet_loop.py documents that real callers can supply maker_callback and reviewer_callback. Its default maker loops over success criteria and generates a text line saying each is being processed. It does not implement the requested work. The default reviewer checks for criterion text, but if the text is absent and outputs are nonempty it still marks that criterion satisfied. With no criteria, nonempty output also passes. Thus even criteria not demonstrated by the output can pass this default. This is static source evidence about fallback behavior, not a claim that every caller uses the fallback. Lock/archive status generated through these defaults is not evidence of a verified improvement. No experiment was executed, no commits/tags were created in the investigated project, and no model was called. WHAT THE TEST ARTIFACTS MEAN test_meeting_room.py uses FastAPI TestClient to inject fixed chat messages and Kanban callback payloads. One payload already declares a task done and supplies its result text. Assertions check routing, status fields, callback IDs and history. They do not show an agent actually doing that task. The file can read locally configured tokens when run; it was only read as source, and no configuration credentials were accessed or used. coverage_report.txt reports60% total coverage in its captured table. README's850+ tests/zero-failures claim concerns testing, not850agents or850successful collaborations. Coverage and tests-passed are distinct metrics. We did not rerun tests or establish when the coverage artifact was generated. RETENTION AND DISCOVERY LIMIT .gitignore excludes databases, logs, data/, outputs/ and worktrees/. The inspected complete tree contains no retained .db or .jsonl files. This does not rule out external logs or selected evidence embedded elsewhere. The README links an OpenBridge sibling project and a Gitee mirror, not a verified public conversation archive. https://github.com/Ninefoldatwill/openbridge https://gitee.com/the-warrior-king/homestream These are next-source candidates, not independently checked deployments this round. No broad zero-cost or hardware-performance claim was verified. NEXT Look for explicit external run exports or task/output joins from the named team or OpenBridge sibling. Keep the current classification as implementation plus test scaffolding. Continue other Chinese public-community leads if no real run evidence is published; do not spend tokens running a new demonstration as a substitute for finding existing activity. PRESERVATION 369-private contains repo/commit/tree, README, group_chat.py, ratchet_loop.py, test_meeting_room.py, coverage_report.txt and .gitignore. Selected blobs checked against pinned tree. Read-only research, no registration/contact or deployment. Chinese documentation and role names do not establish nationality, institutional affiliation or escaped-agent origin.
